Get involved

The Blue Badge Bunch is on the lookout for both disabled and nondisabled individuals to participate in our latest project, aimed at highlighting the talents and capabilities of people of all abilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Do you have a disability you’d like to raise awareness of? Want to confront the assumptions people have about what you can and can’t do? Us too. We’re inviting disabled individuals to film themselves doing a daily task, hobby or activity, to share on social media and potentially be featured in our live kids game show.
  • Nondisabled participants, we challenge you to complete a task one-handed, draw with your feet, or learn sign language. Experience first-hand what it’s like to navigate the world with a disability and share your reflections with us.

Why Participate?

  • Your one-minute video will help promote a positive image of disabled individuals, emphasizing their skills and talents rather than focusing on limitations.
  • Selected videos will be featured in the show reel at the beginning of our program, reaching a wide audience and spreading awareness about inclusivity and diversity.
  • Selected videos will also be featured in the show reel at the beginning of our live touring and Edinburgh Fringe show at the Pleasance Courtyard.
  • Participants will receive £15.00 for their video submission, with an additional £10.00 bonus for those chosen for the show reel.

How to Get Involved:

  1. Film yourself for 1 minute completing a task or learning a new skill that showcases your abilities. Remember to film in portrait mode and ensure good lighting for the best quality.
  2. Share your experience of completing the task, reflecting on any challenges or insights gained.
  3. Submit your video to
